GlanceNote (“the App”, “we”, “our”) is a note-taking application developed by Peridot Wisdom. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We designed GlanceNote to collect as little data as possible. The App has no login, no user account, and no server of our own that stores your notes. Your notes are synchronized across your own Apple devices using your personal iCloud account.
The text content of your notes, including checklist items and due dates you enter, is stored locally on your device and synchronized to your personal iCloud account through Apple CloudKit. We do not have access to the content of your notes. Only you and the devices signed in to your iCloud account can read them.
When you use the App on iPhone, we display banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob to support the free tier. To serve these ads, AdMob may process the following identifiers:
Advertisements are never shown on the lock screen, in Live Activities, in the Dynamic Island, in Home Screen widgets, or on Apple Watch. Advertisements are also not shown on Mac or iPad in the current version.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent to the processing described in Section 2.2. Your consent choices are stored locally on your device by the UMP SDK.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive anonymous crash reports and performance metrics so we can fix bugs and improve stability. These reports include your device model, operating system version, and a stack trace of the crash, but do not include the content of your notes.
We use Amplitude to understand, in aggregate, which features of the App are used and how reliably they work. Events we record are limited to product interactions (for example, “first note created” or “note pinned”). We do not record the content of your notes, your name, email address, or precise location.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our third-party processors operate. We rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms recognized by the European Commission, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
